The company was founded in December 10, 1996 by our Chairman and CEO, Fernando L. Martinez. The 1st Depot is located in the City of Pasig and was inaugurated by early 1997. From there, our retail network has expanded to areas such as Cavite, Pangasinan, Isabela and other parts of Luzon.
By 2004, further expansion reached General Santos and Davao City in Mindanao bringing more than 35 Gasolinahang Bayan (GNB) stations nationwide by end of 2010.

In 2007 Eastern Petroleum introduces its line of auto LPG (Powergas) in the market. It gains mass following in Taxis.
Eastern petroleum goes direct importation
Beginning 2011, we have initiated our expansion in the Visayas region through industrial accounts. 2011 is also the year that Eastern Petroleum introduces the Gateway Superstations, these large gasoline stations are commercial strips that are designed for the total convenience of motorists and walk in customers.
Eastern Builds Retail Stations in Visayas and further expands in Mindanao. Introduction of Diesel Pro, a Euro 4 Quality fuel.
Eastern Petroleum Aims to build more than 50 gasoline stations.
